‘Sicilian Vampire’ Finally Unites Vampires And The Mafia!
No you’re not crazy, this is legit, I can vouch for it.
The latest mafia vs. vampires film by Frank d’Angelo is a soon-to-be cult horror film based on the life of infamous mobster, Santino Trafficante Jr.
Director/Actor Frank D’Angelo gave us a taste for the film in 2015 – shocking audiences with the trailer of Sicilian Vampire, a film where Mr. Trafficante, a Sicilian mafia boss is turned into a ruthless vampire.
And with a such a star-studded cast, who couldn’t be excited about this marriage between the paranormal, and criminally organized, underworlds?
James Caan, Daryl Hannah, Paul Sorvino, Robert Loggia, Armand Assante, Robert Davi, Michael Paré, Eric Roberts, Daniel Baldwin, Tony Nardi, Frank D’Angelo, and Phil Esposito.
Is this related to real life?
Well, Santino Trafficante Jr. was a bloodthirsty mafia boss in Florida, but we doubt he had any vampiric interests. Nevertheless, the film seems to dive into the infamous mobster’s legacy in Florida, introducing a new possible motive behind his ruthless bloodlust – vampires. Not unlike other mobster movies like Black Mass.
The film is slated to be released this year, so get ready ladies and gents. We doubt this will be Oscar-worthy, but it’s definitely a cult classic waiting to happen.
